Dr. Bhaskar Bhuyan is an accomplished academic, author, and researcher from Assam, India. Currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of MIL & LS at Gauhati University, he is a dynamic force in the study of Assamese language, culture, and comparative literature.

His scholarly interests span Comparative Literature, Epistle Literature, Language and Culture Digitalization, Wikimedia, and Translation. He earned his Ph.D. from Gauhati University in 2024 and has held positions at Tezpur University and KKHSOU.

A prolific writer, Dr. Bhuyan has authored and edited numerous books, published over a dozen peer-reviewed articles, presented at international and national conferences, and contributed chapters to more than twenty edited volumes. He is also an active member of the International Comparative Literature Association.

Beyond academia, he has won multiple awards for literary excellence, including the prestigious Yuva Lekhak Sanman-2025 at the state level.
